Index of Songs of Praise, 1925

While not strictly for church use, this hymnal for schools was so widely used in English schools and became so identified with Anglican music, that it would be impossible to leave it out of this survey. This is the original 1925 edition, was later enlarged in 1931. Edited by Percy Dearmer, Martin Shaw and Ralph Vaughan Williams.

380 Thou long disowned, reviled, oppressed

381 Thou true Vine, that heals the nations

382 Thou wast, O God, and thou wast blest

383 Through all the changing scenes of life

384 Through the night of doubt and sorrow

385 Thy heaven, on which 'tis bliss to look
