This is the revised edition of the official hymn book for the whole of The Church of England in
Canada (later Anglican Church of Canada). Most editions say The Hymn Book on their
spine and cover, but the title is as given above. This hymnal is one of three still in common use in
Canada, the others being the 1971
and the 1998 hymnals.
Not all of the files linked here are presently available. The headings below are those found in
the original text.

502 Come unto me, ye weary
503 I heard the voice of Jesus say
504 Rest of the weary
505 O God, the Rock of Ages
506 O Christ, who holds the open
gate
507 Fierce raged the tempest o'er the
deep
508 From every stormy wind that
blows
509 And now the wants are told, that
brought
510 Jesus, lover of my soul
511 When the day of toil is
done
512 Fierce was the wild billow
Faith and Penitence
513 We saw thee not when thou didst
come
514 Lord Jesus, think on me
515 I know that my Redeemer
lives
516 God moves in a mysterious
way
517 Lord, as to thy dear Cross we
flee
518 Behold the Lamb of God
519 Lead, kindly Light, amid the
encircling gloom
520 Unto the hills around do I lift
up
521 O for a faith that will not
shrink
522 My faith looks up to thee
523 Jesus, thy blood and
righteousness
524 Father, again in Jesus' Name we
meet
525 Jesus, I will trust thee
526 Jesus is God: the solid earth
527 One who is all unfit to
count
528 O thou, the contrite sinners'
Friend
529 Just as I am, without one
plea
530 O Jesus, thou art standing

546 Thy way, not mine, O Lord
547 The Lord's my Shepherd, I'll not
want
548 Come, thou long-expected
